Welcome to “My New Group Coaching” programme. 

I am thrilled to introduce my new monthly group coaching sessions, where each month we will delve into one of the Eight Tensions® identified by Dr. Natalie Lancer.

The Eight Tensions ® represent fundamental aspects of life and business that we often grapple with. 

Take a moment to explore the questions below and identify which tension resonates with you the most. 

Then, join us for the corresponding session where we will provide insights and strategies to help you navigate these challenges.

 

Session 1
Narrowing Down -
Opening Up

  • Do you find it difficult to make a decision?
  • Are you saying yes when you should be saying no?
  • Does what you are hoping to do have a finite time to finish it?

In this session we will look at the areas in your lives and businesses where you need to focus on one task and where you need to open up to other ideas and perspectives.


How can we be aware and make plans to be a greater liver of life with a clear vision and permission to explore all that life has to offer?

Thursday 16th May

Session 2
Treading Water –
Pushing Forward

  • How do you create time and space for your development?
  • What do you need to develop or disrupt?
  • What do you do when you need a sense of flow?

In this session we will look across your work, your parenting, your relationships, your business and your wellbeing. The choice is yours. Sometimes in life we need to tread water and other times treading water can leave us feeling stuck and not moving forward with the important aspects that will give us a fuller life. On the other hand , we can push forward all the time particularly in our careers leading to burnout and overwhelm.

Tuesday 18th June

Session 3
Owned Action and
Influenced by Ideas

  • Where is your sense of purpose and meaning?
  • Who do you admire?
  • Where is your area of influence?

In this session, we look at control and influence in your life, career and relationships.
This tension can be particularly relevant to clients who are unsure of their identity and really feel a tension between creating something new and being led or trapped by others ideas. This can be parental influence, questions about what you “should” have done or were “supposed” to do. For others, it may be moving away from fixed ideas and exporing and challenging the mindset they have always had.

Wednesday 17th July

Session 4
Being you and fitting in

  • Do you want to express more of yourself?
  • How can you be in the game without playing the game?
  • Do I matter?

This session can be particularly helpful if you feel you are in a transition in your life. In this session the powerful feelings of belonging come into play. Are you the type of person who would like to blend into the background a little more and fit in with others? 

Is it important for you to feel authentic in work, relationships and life in general and how does it feel when you feel like you are not being yourself?

Tuesday 13th August

How to book

Connection and Separation

  • Do the relationships you are in energise or drain you?
  • In what areas of your life are you feeling disconnected?
  • Does your relationship with social media make you feel connected?

In this session we look at your tribe, your community, your people. Where do you feel connected and how can you build more connection in your life. Do you need to establish some boundaries to incorporate separation in your life and how can you do this? 

Are you overwhelmed by the amount of people you need to attend to and need more alone time or are you seeking connection with others and don’t know where to start?

Thursday 5th September

How to book

Day to Day – Thinking Forward

  • What can you do today that will serve you well in a week a year?
  • What barriers are getting tin the way of living the life that you want?
  • How can tweaking the structure of your day provide you with greater fulfilment and wellbeing?

In this session, we are being practical, if I had to choose one tension that comes up most frequently in coaching, this would be it. Some people get so stuck in the day to day of living that they forget to dream about the future they would like to create for themselves. They put things off and the years fly by without anything changing. On the other hand some people think forward so much that they do not manage the day to day and things can begin to slide in the day to day.

How to book

Fixed plans and the Fluidity of Life

  • Are you a starter or a finisher?
  • Do you have a fixed concept of self?
  • Is your career, life, relationship in a fixed place or does it need more/less fluidity?

In this session , we look at the titles you have given to yourself or that have been given to you. Having a fixed idea of who you are and what you “should” be doing can lead to disappointment. For other people, they feel safe and secure with a fixed plan and guard against the fluidity of life. Do you like a plan or are you a spontaneous and fluid liver of life?

Tuesday 12th November

How to book

Doing Enough - Going All In

  • When are you most energised or focused?
  • Where should you invest less energy?
  • What capabilities and skills do you need to get going?

In this session we will look at burnout, overwhelm, procrastination and stagnation. In your career, relationships, life where are you sitting back and doing just enough but perhaps may like to do more? Where would you like to Go all In and what does that look like for you? Are their areas where you are going all in, but it never feels like enough. Allow the group to help you to reflect on where you are in this important aspect of living life well.
